SMOKE OR FIRE LINEUP SWITCH DELAYS PRODUCTION OF NEW RECORD

Last month, SMOKE OR FIRE announced that longtime drummer, Nick Maggiore, had parted ways amicably with the band. He has since been replaced by Dave Atchinson, formerly of hardcore stalwarts From Ashes Rise.

Unfortunately, this member switch has caused the band to push back the recording of their second album for Fat Wreck Chords, originally slated to begin production on June 12 with Matt Allison (Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms) at the controls. The quartet now plans to begin recording this September, and are aiming for a February '07 release.
