THE FORMS SOON TO FINISH RECORDING THEIR
SOPHOMORE ALBUM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After 34 straight days in the studio,
THE FORMS have nearly finished recording the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed
debut, Icarus.
Clocking in at around 30 minutes, the yet-to-be-titled sophomore release
was recorded by none other than the superstar engineering trio of
Steve Albini (Nirvana, Slint, The Pixies), Greg Norman (Guided By
Voices, Neurosis, Zwan), and Matt Talbott (Hum, Shiner) at Electrical
Audio and Great Western Record Recorders. To date, all the tracking
has been completed and ten of those tracks have been mixed. Two more
tracks will be mixed this weekend at Electrical Audio and then the
band will head to John Golden's studio in LA to master shortly thereafter.
The band is extremely happy with the current results and feel that
it is their best work to date. A release date has yet to be set.
