Trail Vs. Russia was an instrumental
trio from Vancouver, Canada. The Anvil was their five song 12" and it rocks to all hell. Rooted in big
drums and guitars, described by friends as "like chewing on tin
foil," these kids were experimenting with negative space, timing,
and the threshold of pain. If 1+1+1=3 can be called an equation then,
yes, they were a math rock band.
